Awami League candidate for Narail-2 Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will cast his vote at Narail Technical School and College on Sunday.
Mashrafe's close friend Suman Kumar Das and a local councillor, Sharful Alam Litu, confirmed the matter, saying it is not yet confirmed when he will cast his vote.
Narail Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Md Ashfaqul Haque Chowdhury said: “Magistrates, police, BGB, RAB and other law enforcement agencies are working to hold a peaceful election.”
There are 365,729 voters in Narail-2. Among them, 183,739 are women and 181,990 men.
There will be 811 polling booths at 147 centres in the constituency.
