Former Bangladesh cricket team captain and current candidate for the Narail-2 constituency, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, has said that he does not see any alternative path to victory if voters choose not to cast their ballots in his favor in the upcoming election.
He said he will continue to serve the country if he gets reelected.
“The upcoming election is of utmost importance. It is not just a regular election; the well-being and future of the next generation depends on this election,” he said during road rallies held on Tuesday.
He further said: "Over the past five years, I have dedicated myself to the progress of this constituency. Many mega projects are still ongoing here. Let's not halt their progress. Your responsibility is to go to the polling center on January 7 and cast your vote for the boat (Awami League’s electoral symbol).”
Mashrafe urged the voters to take their families with them to the polling center and cast their votes for the boat.
