The Ministry of Public Administration has declared January 7, scheduled for the 12th national parliamentary election, a general holiday for all government, semi-government and private organizations.
The announcement was published in a notification issued on Thursday.
On Sunday, the Election Commission instructed the Ministry of Public Administration to declare a public holiday on January 7 on the occasion of the national election.
