Awami League is holding election rallies in six districts at the same time ahead of the 12th national parliamentary election.
Party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined these public meetings virtually from the Dhaka district Awami League building in Tejgaon of the capital on Saturday afternoon.
Awami League is holding election rallies in Kushtia, Jhenaidah and Satkhira districts of Khulna division, Barguna district of Barisal division, Netrakona district of Mymensingh division and Rangamati district of Chittagong division.
Awami League office has informed that Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will address the election public meeting at Barisal district headquarters on December 29 (Friday) at 3pm and on December 30 (Saturday) at Gopalganj-3 constituencies (Tungipara and Kotalipara) and Madaripur-3.
Besides, the ruling Awami League will hold an election rally in Dhaka on January 1 (Monday). The public meeting will be held on that day at 3pm in Mohammadpur.
Party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will deliver the speech as the chief guest.
Earlier on Wednesday, Awami League's official campaign started from Sylhet. On this day, after visiting the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shah Paran (RA), the prime minister addressed the public meeting.
