The Ministry of Public Administration on Saturday announced the transfers of two deputy commissioners ahead of the upcoming 12 national parliamentary elections.
Sunamganj Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate Didar-E-Alam Mohammad Maksud Chowdhury was transferred to Mymensingh district.
The government appointed Deputy Secretary (DS) Mohammad Rashed Iqbal Chowdhury, now serving at Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate of Sunamganj.
Meanwhile, Mymensingh DC and District Magistrate Md Mostafizur Rahman was transferred to the Health Service Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued two separate orders regarding these on Saturday. The notifications added the orders would come into effect immediately.
