The ruling Awami League has announced candidates for 298 of the 300 seats in the upcoming 12th parliamentary elections.The names of the picked candidates for Kushtia-2 and Narayanganj-5 constituencies were not announced.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced the names on Sunday.
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal President Hasanul Haq Inu currently serves as a member of parliament representing the Kushtia-2 constituency.
Jatiya Party's AKM Salim Osman holds the position of member of parliament for Narayanganj-5 constituency.
The 12th national polls is scheduled to be held on January 7.
