The ruling Awami League has picked former Bangladesh cricket captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza to contest 12th national parliament election from Narail-2 constituency.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader made the announcement in a press briefing on Sunday.
Former Bangladesh cricket team captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and 23 other leaders were seeking the Awami League's nomination for the Narail-2 constituency.
Still, Awami League decided to pick the incumbent MP again for the constituency.
