The ruling Awami League has made the party's Presidium Member Kazi Zafar Ullah as co-chairman of its election conducting committee constituted for the 12th National Parliamentary Election.
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, also chief of the election conducting committee, made the announcement while chairing the first meeting of the committee at the party's Dhaka District Office at Tejgaon on Friday afternoon.
On November 9, the committee was formed in a meeting of the Awami League Central Working Committee.
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was made chief of the committee.
