Awami League's nominated candidate for Dhaka-17 constituency, Professor Mohammad A Arafat, has said he is 100% confident about winning the by-election of Dhaka 17 constituency.
While conducting his election campaign in Kalachandpur, Narda and Shahjadpur areas on Wednesday, the Awami League candidate said that boat is the symbol of development and progress in Bangladesh.
He said: “Vote for boat to continue the country's progress.”
Mohammad A Arafat promised that he will work for the development of the constituency as much as he can.
After hearing various issues from locals, he said: “If I am elected, I will solve these problems step by step. So, vote for boat.”
He said that he wants to win the election from three aspects, winning the election with the people, ensuring the maximum number of voters through public relations and winning through a clean and fair election.
The Dhaka-17 by-election is scheduled to take place on July 17.
