The elections to seven union parishad (UP)'s of Shibalaya upazila of Manikganj will be held on Monday.
The voting will take place from 8am-4 pm.
The Upazila Election Officer Mahbubur Rahman said 33 chairman candidates for seven posts, 242 candidates for 63 general member posts and 88 candidates for 21 women reserved seats are contesting in seven unions of the upazila.
A total of 1,43,051 voters, including 70,354 females, will cast their votes.
As many as 71 presiding officers, 440 assistant presiding officers and 880 polling officers will be tasked with conducting the voting process.
District Election Officer Sheikh Habibur Rahman said all measures have been taken to hold the elections in a free and fair atmosphere.
