No classes and examinations of Dhaka University (DU) will be held on the polling day of DU Central Students’ Union (Ducsu), a press release from the university said on Thursday.
The Ducsu and hall union elections are scheduled to be held on March 11, Monday.
A total of 229 candidates are vying for the 25 posts of Ducsu, which remained dysfunctional for around 28 years.
The last Ducsu and hall union polls were held in 1990.
