Awami League candidate Monnuzan Sufian has been re-elected from Khulna 3 constituency, based on the unofficial results received from all 117 polling centres.
People of this seat had voted from 8am to 4pm during the 11th general election on Sunday.
The results were announced by Returning Officer Mohammad Helal Hossain from the Returning Officer’s office in Khulna.
Monnuzan bagged 134,806 votes in 117 centres with her electoral symbol boat, retaining her seat in the parliament.
His rival Rokibul Islam Bokul, the candidate blessed by BNP, got 23,060 votes with his sheaf of paddy symbol.
