Awami League has nominated incumbent Member of Parliament Kazi Nabil Ahmed for Jessore 3 constituency in the upcoming 11th parliamentary election.
The lawmaker purchased the nomination papers at the party's central office, on Dhaka's Bangabandhu Avenue, around 11:45am on Sunday.

The party already started distributing letters to the nominees. The process began around 10am on Sunday at the party’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in Dhaka.
When is the election?
The Election Commission rescheduled the election for December 30 instead of December 23.
The deadline to submit nomination papers is set for November 28; meanwhile, nomination papers must be scrutinized on December 2, and the deadline to withdraw from the running is December 8.
