Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader’s nomination form for Noakhali 5 constituency has been purchased on his behalf by Noakhali district Awami League General Secretary Ekramul Karim Chowdhury.
The papers were purchased from the assistant returning officer at the Kabirhat Upazila Parishad on Saturday afternoon.
After the purchase, Ekramul told reporters: “In order to keep the ongoing wave of development going, we are determined to help Obaidul Quader win. We will help the Election Commission and make sure the election takes please peacefully. If anyone tries to cause trouble, we will stop them.”
Kabirhat upazila Awami League President Nurul Amin Rumi, General Secretary Zahirul Haque Raihan, and several other leaders and activists were with Ekramul when he collected the form.
