Faridpur 1 Awami League MP Abdur Rahman has said the Jatiya Oikya Front has been formed to foil the upcoming national election.
Rahman, also the joint general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, was speaking at an election campaign rally at the Madhukhali Pilot High School on Saturday.
He said: “I have developed this constituency twice of what was done in the last 46 years, only because of the opportunity Prime Minister Shaikh Hasina gave me.”
He urged everyone in the rally to vote for Hasina again and to vote for him too, so that he can continue his development works.
Rahman said: “The Oikya Front is planning foil the 11th national election and BNP become a victim of the conspiracy that is going on right now.”
Madhulkhali Upazila Awami League General Secretary Md Rezaul Haque Boku conducted the rally. Local Awami League leader Moniruzzaman Bachchu presided over the program.
Bachchu said: “We liberated this country under the leadership of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the development that has been done in this country is because of his daughter Sheikh Hasina. As long as Awami League remains in power, this country will continue to prosper.”
Muktijoddha Projommo League Joint Convenor Md Ujjal, Upazila Jubo League leader Mirza Mazharul Islam, Awami League leaders- Md Shahidul Alam, Md Habibul Bashar, Mirza Asaduzzaman Khokon and Babul Akhter, spoke at the rally, among others.
Besides, Puja Udjapon Parishad’s Babu Shubash Saha, Boalmari Awami League General Secretary Sobhan Mridha Bakul, Faridpur District Awami League President Babul Mridha and Madhukhali Upazila Awami League Secretary Md Atiar Rahman, were also present at the program.
