Awami League’s weeklong election campaign to end Sunday

The campaign which began on Monday (October 1) will end on Sunday

Bangladesh Awami League’s weeklong election campaign, which began on October 1, will end on Sunday.

Party leaders at the time spoke to the general people to let them know about the development works made possible under this government.

The ruling party formed four teams, led by Awami League joint general secretaries - Mahabubul Alam Hanif, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Dipu Moni, and Abdur Rahman.

The party's Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap and Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud coordinated the campaigns. 

The campaigns were held at Dhaka’sUttara, Gulshan, Mirpur, New Market, Dhanmondi, Wari, Shantinagar, Khilgaon, Mohammadpur, Shahbagh and Farmgate areas. 

Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader was present at every rally and urged the citizens to vote for the Awami League, in order to continue the development projects undertaken by them.

Dr Golap while talking to the Dhaka Tribune said: “People warmly received our leaders and assured to vote for us in the upcoming national election and keep the Awami League in power.
