The education ministry has reshuffled the dates for two papers of Bangla of JSC and JDC examination this year.
Bangla first paper exam of JSC and JDC will be held on November 7, instead of November 2, the education secretary told Dhaka Tribune on Thursday evening.
Bangla second paper exam will be held on November 14 instead of November 3.
The secretary said the changes had come for the hartals.
On Wednesday, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid announced JSC and JDC examinations would begin on November 2.
However, Jamaat-e-Islami has called countrywide hartal for Thursday, Sunday, Monday in protest against the tribunal’s verdict that handed down death penalty to its Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami for war crimes.
A total of 20,90,692 students from 27,925 educational institutions will appear in this year's examinations, the minister told media.
