Around 80 percent admission seekers have failed to obtain pass marks in the Monday’s admission test of “D” unit of first year honours for the 2014-15 session at Chittagong University.
The results was published yesterday morning while only 20.43% aspirants got pass marks in the test, said SM Akbar Hossain, deputy registrar of academic section of CU and also member secretary of the examination committee.
The registrar also stated that a total of 5,340 admission seekers from 30,861 secured pass marks in the unit of Social Science Faculty.
The faculty’s Dean Professor Abul Hossain said the viva-voce of the qualified aspirants will be held on November 15.
Meanwhile the written test of “F” unit was also held yesterday.
