The call of opposition’s 48-hour blockade rejecting the schedule of the 10th parliamentary elections has made the examinations of the ongoing primary terminal examination uncertain.
The science examination is scheduled for Wednesday. According to the timetable, there is no examination scheduled for on Tuesday.
Immediately after the announcement of the blockade, Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid told the Dhaka Tribune on Monday evening that he would sit with officials to decide the matter soon.
Senior officials at the education ministry said the examination might be postponed and the decision would be made on Tuesday.
The primary terminal examinations began on November 20 and this year a total of 2,950,193 class V students are registered to take the public exam. The examinations will end on November 28.
