A total of 4,585 candidates who initially failed the SSC and equivalent examinations in 2026 have passed after their answer scripts were re-scrutinised and re-evaluated.
In addition, 3,079 candidates received new GPAs.
The Ministry of Education released the statistics on the results of the re-scrutiny and re-evaluation on Monday.
According to ministry data, a total of 1,829,485 candidates appeared for the SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 402,052 candidates applied for re-scrutiny and re-evaluation of their answer scripts.
Among the answer scripts submitted for review, 1,056,455 were theoretical scripts and 231,471 were practical scripts. A total of 1,287,926 scripts were re-scrutinised.
The results showed grade changes for 27,836 candidates, while the marks of 56,259 candidates were changed.
