DU 'Kha' unit admission test held

A total of 17,701 candidates competed for 2,934 seats, averaging nearly 39 applicants per seat

The admission test for Dhaka University's (DU) "Kha Unit", covering the Faculties of Arts, Law, and Social Sciences for the 2025-2026 academic session, was held on Saturday in a fair and peaceful manner.

The test began at 11am and continued until 12:30pm at Dhaka University as well as at centers of public universities in seven divisional cities outside Dhaka.

A total of 17,701 candidates took part in the examination for 2,934 seats, making the competition highly competitive with nearly 39 applicants vying for each seat.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan visited the examination center at the Social Sciences Faculty building around noon to oversee the process.

Outside Dhaka, the examination was conducted at Rajshahi University, Chittagong University, Barisal University, Khulna University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh, and Begum Rokeya University.
