A team of researchers from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has published a peer-reviewed article in Business Strategy & Development, a journal indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.

The information was shared through a press release issued on Thursday.

The article, titled “Youth Capability Ecosystems and Strategic Business Models,” investigates how businesses in emerging economies can align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) by incorporating youth capability frameworks into their strategic planning.

The research was conducted by Sajid Amit, Abdulla Al Kafy, Mushfiqur Rahman, and Iftakhar Ahmed, in collaboration with international academic partners.

Based on survey data from 400 youth respondents in Dhaka, the study utilizes quantitative analysis to identify four distinct youth capability segments.

It emphasizes digital proficiency as a significant enabler of both career readiness and entrepreneurial ambition.

The press release said: “The findings contribute to the literature on inclusive business strategy and offer a framework for designing youth-centered models that address sustainable development priorities.”

“This publication reflects ULAB’s ongoing engagement with data-driven research on youth development, strategic innovation, and private-sector contributions to sustainable growth,” it added.
