Jagannath University (JnU) is set to kick off the final admission process for the 2024–25 academic year on Sunday.
Students who have been allocated subjects in the first phase of Bachelor (Honours) and BBA programs under Units A, B, C, D, and E will be eligible to complete their admission.
This information was given in a notice issued by the university's Acting Registrar, Professor Dr Gias Uddin, on Friday. According to the notification, the final admission process will begin at 12pm on Sunday and continue until 11:59pm on May 5.
Students are required to log in to their respective panels on the https://jnuadmission.com website and submit the admission fee online within the scheduled time.
The admission fee has been set at Tk12,400 for the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Life and Earth Sciences, Tk10,400 for the Faculty of Business Studies and the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Law, and Institutes, and Tk12,400 for the Department of Film and Television, Music and Drama, and the Faculty of Fine Arts.
After paying the admission fee, candidates must submit the necessary documents to the respective dean’s office between 9am and 4pm and collect the departmental confirmation slip.
At the time of document submission, students must bring the original mark sheets of SSC and HSC examinations, the admit card signed by the admission test invigilator, a printed copy of the admission form from the online portal, and four recent passport-size color photographs.
