The cluster admission test for nine agricultural universities across the country, including Khulna Agricultural University (KAU), has been successfully completed.
The examination, which began at 3pm on Saturday, continued until 4pm.
Prior to the start of the exam, students gathered at the Khulna Collegiate Girls’ School centre from noon.
A total of 2,000 seats were available across Khulna Collegiate Girls’ School and KCC Women’s College centres.
Out of these, 1,895 candidates were present, while 105 were absent, resulting in an attendance rate of 94.75%.
During the examination, the university’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Nazmul Ahsan, Treasurer Professor Dr Shamim Ahmed Kamal Uddin Khan, and acting registrar Md Rezaul Islam, along with faculty members and officials from various departments, visited several examination rooms.
The VC said that the examination was conducted in a very orderly and fair environment.
He added that holding the test under the cluster system has helped reduce both the time and hardship for students and their guardians.
