The Acting Registrar of Jagannath University, Professor Dr Md Sheikh Gias Uddin, has announced that the results of the Faculty of Social Sciences (D Unit) admission test will be published by next week.
Professor Gias Uddin said: “We are actively working on result preparation. The evaluation of answer scripts is ongoing, and due to certain administrative processes, the results of the ‘D’ Unit will be published on either Friday or Saturday. Additionally, the results of the ‘B’ and ‘C’ Units will be announced by March 20.”
When asked about the delay in result publication, he explained: “Since our admission test included a written component, the evaluation process requires additional time. Had it been a multiple-choice-only exam, the results could have been announced earlier. However, we expect to release the results of all units within Ramadan.”
Earlier, on January 31, the E Unit (Faculty of Fine Arts) admission test was conducted, and its results were published on February 15.
The subsequent exams were held as follows: D Unit (Faculty of Social Sciences) on February 14, B Unit (Faculty of Arts and Law) on February 15, A Unit (Faculty of Science & Life and Earth Sciences) on February 22, and C Unit (Faculty of Business Studies) on Friday.
