Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (Ruet) has been selected as the Best Regional University of South Asia.
Vice-Chancellor of the institution Prof Mohammed Mortuza Ali has also been nominated as the Manager of the Year’, said a press release.
A survey conducted by the “Euro Business Assembly (EBA)”, a UK-based international research institution disclosed the result recently.
EBA conducted its survey over all universities of South Asian countries since May this year.
The survey was conducted on the basis of education curriculum, quality of education and research, infrastructure and others index of the universities.
“In this time, Ruet has contributed a lot on education and research that brings such kind of dignity for us,” said VC Prof Mortuza.
Besides, VC of Ruet has been invited to attend a three-day programme on “Oxford Summit of Leaders: Science and Education” which is scheduled to be held from December 16 to December 18 this year.
On the second day of the programme, the award will be handed over to Ruet authorities at Oxford Town Hall in UK on December 17.
