A-six member team from Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI), South Korea called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique Sunday.
The team was led by Jaebin Yoon, Team Manager of (KETI).
During the meeting, the representatives discussed matters of mutual interest, especially, the prospects in undertaking a programme called ‘Industrial Technology Innovation Program’ on solar energy in collaboration with DU.
The team members assured the DU VC that all sorts of assistance would be provided to develop the project.
Other members of the team include Dr Sungtaek Lim, Head of the Technical Research Centre, Il Rae Kim, Director of the Department of Solar Business, and Han Duk-woo, Regional Director of the BJ Power Co Ltd.
Professor Dr Saiful Huque of the Institute of Renewable Energy of Dhaka University was present on the meeting.
