JnU admission test begins Friday

A total of 1,375 candidates are set to appear for the exam

The first-year undergraduate admission test for the 2024-25 academic year at Jagannath University (JnU) is set to begin on Friday.

The “E” unit admission test, under the Faculty of Fine Arts, will be held at 10am.

A total of 1,375 candidates are set to appear for the exam.

The test will be conducted using JnU’s system, with 48 marks allocated for the practical exam and 44 marks for the multiple-choice questions (MCQ).

Professor Md Aloptogin, dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, said: "A total of 1,375 students have applied for the E unit. We are well prepared to conduct the admission test smoothly."

According to the university’s admission committee, the schedule for other faculty admission tests is as follows:

  • D Unit (Faculty of Social Sciences): February 14
  • B Unit (Faculty of Arts and Law): February 15
  • A Unit (Faculty of Science, Life, and Earth Sciences): February 22
  • C Unit (Faculty of Business Studies): February 28
