The 23rd edition of the World School Summit recognized Dr Sabuj Ahmed, a renowned educationist, author, and thought leader in Bangladesh, as the “Educator of the Year.”
The event was held at HELP University, Malaysia on January 18 which is an annual gathering of education leaders and policymakers that celebrates exceptional achievements in education and innovation.
The Educator of the Year award is one of its highest honours, recognizing individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary contributions to education on a global scale.
As the principal and co-founder of The New School Dhaka, Dr Ahmed has spent 17 years leading with a vision of innovation and excellence, earning widespread recognition for his work.
Among his notable accomplishments, his book Dictionary of Education stands out as a vital resource for educators across the globe. This comprehensive work has become an invaluable tool for teachers, education leaders, and policymakers, offering practical insights and guidance to navigate the complexities of modern education.
In a further testament to his remarkable achievements, Maryland State University conferred an honorary Doctor of Education degree upon Sabuj Ahmed on January 17
This honour recognizes his substantial contributions to Education Science literature through his 103 research papers on ResearchGate and over 100 educational videos on YouTube, which have inspired educators and learners worldwide.
