The grand finale of BIZ Verse 2024, a prestigious national-level inter-university business case competition, concluded successfully at Brac University.
Organized by the Brac University Business Club (BIZ BEE) and sponsored by Bank Asia, the event provided a platform for undergraduate students across Bangladesh to showcase their business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thinking.
The competition aimed to foster students' communication, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills through two rigorous rounds designed to test their analytical and strategic capabilities.
Ten finalists advanced to the final round, where they pitched their business concept for a proposed laundry service, CleanWave. Each team had five minutes for their presentation, followed by a two-minute Q&A session with the judges.
Tashnimul Arshad Tahmid from the University of Dhaka claimed the championship title, while Tanzim Noor Tanmoy from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) secured the first runner-up position. Manjur E Elahi Turjo from BRAC University took the second runner-up spot.
The finalists were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges. Dr David Dowland, registrar of Brac University, and Dr Sayla Sowat Siddiqui, assistant professor and BIZ BEE advisor, congratulated the participants on their innovative ideas and praised their dedication to the competition.
With its successful conclusion, BIZ Verse 2024 reinforced its reputation as a premier platform for nurturing the next generation of business leaders and innovators in Bangladesh.
