The admission tests for the first-year undergraduate programs at Dhaka University (DU) for the 2024-25 academic year are set to begin on January 4.
This decision was made on Monday during a meeting of the university's General Admission Committee.
According to the decision, the Fine Arts unit test will be held on January 4; The Arts, Law, and Social Sciences unit test on January 25; the Science unit test on February 1; and the Business Studies unit test on February 8. Additionally, IBA admission test is scheduled for January 3.
The application process for the admission tests will begin on November 4 at 12pm and will continue until November 25 at 11:59pm. The application fee for the tests has been set at Tk1,050.
It was reported that the initial proposal was to start the exams from January 25. However, due to World Ijtema, two tests, including the IBA test, have been rescheduled to earlier dates.
