Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Cuet) has imposed a ban on teachers, students, officers and employees from engaging in any political activities.
The decision came during the university’s 136th emergency syndicate meeting on Wednesday.
A circular issued in this regard says any involvement in political organizations or activities by students, teachers, officials or employees of the university is strictly prohibited.
Violators will face disciplinary action in accordance with university regulations, it adds.
