Dhaka University Alumni Association has formulated a year-long program on the occasion of its platinum jubilee (75 years of establishment) at a press conference on the Dhaka University campus on Friday.
As part of the year-long program of Dhaka University Alumni Association, the opening ceremony of Platinum Jubilee will be organized in TSC Auditorium with the participation of former and present executive committee members of Dhaka University Alumni Association at 3pm on Saturday.
The newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr ASM Maksud Kamal, among others, will be present at the event.
As a plan of the year-long program, a reunion will be organized on the occasion of the platinum jubilee which will be organized between November and December, inviting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the chief guest.
Moreover, Alumni Week will be celebrated from May 11-17 at TSC of Dhaka University.
During this time, there will be an exhibition of photographs of the previous activities of the alumni association and all the publications of the association.
Besides, a documentary will be screened at TSC.
