Members of RAB-13 arrested 35 individuals in Gaibandha, accused of using electronic devices and mobile phones during the first phase of the primary teacher recruitment examination.
The arrests were made at different examination centres in Gaibandha Sadar during the Friday examination.
The arrested included five masterminds of a fraud ring and 30 examinees.
During the operation, 22 electronic devices connected to MasterCards, 19 Bluetooth devices, 16 mobile phones, and bank cheques were seized.
RAB-13 reported that the fraudulent activities involved connecting electronic devices to MasterCards in a unique manner.
Mostafizur Rahman, acting company commander of RAB-13 Gaibandha camp, provided details of the operation in a press release in the afternoon.
