A total of 953 educational institutions under all education boards secured a 100% pass rate in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations.
The number of institutions with a 100% pass rate declined this year compared to the previous year's 1,330.
Meanwhile, a total of 42 educational institutes recorded a 0% pass rate in the HSC and equivalent exams this year.
Last year, 50 institutions recorded a 0% pass rate, while in 2021, only five institutions had a 0% pass rate for the HSC and equivalent exams.
In 2021, a total of 1,934 educational institutions across Bangladesh saw a 100% pass rate.
The results of the HSC and equivalent examinations of 2023 were published on Sunday.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni handed over the summary of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official Ganabhaban residence at 10am on Sunday.
This year a total of 1,374,488 students sat for HSC and equivalent exams from August 17 to September 25.
Of them, 698,135 are boys and 676,353 are girls.
