In this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations, the Jessore Education Board saw the lowest pass rate of 69.88%.
On the other hand, the Barisal Education Board has secured the top position among the 11 boards with an 80.65% pass rate.
The pass rates for other boards are as follows: Rajshahi 78.45%, Comilla 75.34%, Chittagong 73.81%, Sylhet Board 73.07%, Mymensingh board and Dinajpur 70.44%.
The results of the HSC and equivalent examinations of 2023 were published on Sunday morning.
The results were released on the website and respective educational institutions at 11am.
Analysis of the results showed that a total of 1,067,852 candidates have passed the examination in all the education boards. The pass rate is 80.57% in female students and 76.76% in male students.
The pass rate of nine general education boards in the HSC exam is 75.9%.
