The results of the entrance examinations for the arts, law and social sciences units at Dhaka University (DU) for the undergraduate program of the 2022-23 session will be released on Wednesday.
Students will be able to view their results on the website at 1pm, said a notice posted on the university's admissions website on Tuesday.
The entrance examination of Dhaka University began with the admission test of the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Science on May 6 from 11am to 12:30pm.
For the first time, students of science, business and humanities took a combined test at DU.
For the arts, law and social science faculty, there were 122,882 applications for 2,934 seats, meaning approximately 42 students competed for each seat.
According to information obtained from the central admissions office of the university, a total of 298,429 candidates applied for admission into the undergraduate program for the academic year 2022-23.
Accordingly, about 50 students vied for each of the 5,965 seats across the four units.
