The number of GPA-5 achievers has decreased by 12,887 in the Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations of 2022 compared to the year 2021.
In 2021, the number of GPA-5 achievers was 189,169. It came down to 176,282 in 2022.
Besides, the pass rate decreased by 9.31% compared to the HSC exams of 2021.
The pass rate in 2021 was 95.26% while the pass rate of 2022 is 85.95%.
The HSC exam results were published on Wednesday afternoon.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina published the results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate and its equivalent exams at noon.
