ULAB Social Welfare Club distributed winter clothes at Gabtoli village, in the poverty driven area of Rayenda union, Soronkhola upazila, Bagerhat district of Khulna division on January 2.
This is also the last spot before entering the Sundarbans and the area is notoriously known for the mass destruction during Cyclone Sidr in 2007, according to a press release.
Club President Md Nazmul Alam Gazi, the khotib of Rayenda Jame Mosque, Mawlana Md Sagor Islam and some local young people joined them and distributed blankets to 30 families down the river bank of Balaswar.
