SSC results to be published on Monday

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to announce summarized results

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent exams will be published on Monday.

Prof Tapan Kumar Sarker, chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, confirmed the matter.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will announce the summarized results at 11am on the day, and Education Minister Dipu Moni will announce the detailed results at a press conference later in the afternoon, he added.

This year's SSC and equivalent exams under eleven boards, including madrasa (Dakhil) and technical education boards, started across the country on September 15.

A total of 2,021,868 students from 29,591 educational institutions took part in the exams at 3,790 centres.

Altogether 1,599,711 students participated in the SSC exams under the nine general education boards. 

Some 268,495 candidates appeared in the Dakhil exams under the Madrasa Education Board and 153,662 under the Technical Education Board.
