SSC: Jessore Board postpones MCQ test for Bangla 2nd paper

The date for the MCQ exam will be informed later

The Jessore Education Board has postponded the multiple choice question (MCQ) test of the Bangla Second paper of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination.

The exam, which was scheduled for Saturday, was suspended citing unavoidable reasons in a a circular signed by Prof Md Ahasan Habib, chairman of Jessore Intermediate and Secondary Education Board.

The written examination of Bangla Second paper will be held as per the previous schedule, reads the circular.

The date for the multiple-choice question (MCQ) examination of the subject will be informed later, the circular added.

Three SSC examination centres in Narail and Comilla reportedly delivered MCQ questions for Bangla Second paper instead of the first paper on Thursday.

The SSC and equivalent exams started on Thursday. 

A total of 2,021,868 students took part in this year's SSC and equivalent examinations.

The number of candidates has decreased by 221,386 this year.

This year, the examination took place in 3,790 centres across Bangladesh.

On the first day, SSC Bangla first paper exam was held along with Dakhil's Qur'an Majeed and Tajweed exam and SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil (Vocational) candidates' Bangla-II exam.
