Dhaka University is considering allowing students from other universities and abroad to enrol in regular master’s programs of the institution, depending on the availability of seats.
Vice Chancellor Md Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the matter on Tuesday.
Some media outlets reported on Tuesday that a meeting of the deans’ committee had already introduced the facility.
When asked about the matter, the VC said the university was thinking about making some new policies, including one on the enrolment of students of other universities and foreigners in its regular master’s programs.
But nothing had been finalized yet, he added.
