North South University (NSU) observed the 102nd birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children's Day 2022 on Thursday.
The university kept the national flag hoisted and organized a drawing competition and cake cutting ceremony at NSU Plaza Area to celebrate the day, said a press release.
Several documentaries on the life of Bangabandhu were also presented on the occasion.
Prof Dr M Ismail Hossain, the pro-VC of NSU, distributed prizes among the children.
The university will also organize a discussion session and cultural program, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Atiqul Islam, on Monday.
Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar will be present as the chief guest while Azim Uddin Ahmed, chairman of the NSU Board of Trustees, will attend as the special guest.
