Secondary schools and colleges across the country are set to resume in-person classes partially from Tuesday after a month-long closure following a sharp rise in Covid-19 transmission.
However, only students with two doses of Covid-19 vaccines will be allowed in classrooms while others will have to attend classes online.
The students and the teachers will have to follow the health guidelines strictly during the classes, according to Education Ministry officials.
Besides, different universities across the country will also resume their in-person academic activities from Tuesday while the physical classes will start at primary schools from March 2.
The government on Sunday decided to lift the Covid restrictions, imposed last month amid Omicron fears, from Tuesday.
“There will be no more restrictions from February 22 (Tuesday),” Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam told the media after a weekly Cabinet meeting.
