As many as 32 public universities will enroll students at the undergraduate level through admission tests for the academic year 2021-22 under a cluster system.
The decision was taken at a meeting with the vice chancellors of the universities at the University Grants Commission (UGC) on Thursday.
Last year, a total of 29 universities maintained the admission system.
The three new universities being included this year are Kishoreganj Science and Technology University, Chandpur Science and Technology University, and Habiganj Agricultural University.
