The Chittagong University athorities have decided to resume in-person classes and examinations on the campus from October 19, provided that the students take at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine beforehand.
Confirming the matter on Sunday, Acting Registrar SM Monirul Hasan said that educational activities of all batches would start from October 19. Students must follow proper hygiene in the classes and on the campus.
During a meeting, the authorities decided to open all the residential halls and libraries on October 16.

The shuttle train will resume operation the same day. Two trains will start from the port city for the campus at 8am and 9am every day, and leave the campus at 1:30pm and 2:30pm
However, the classes and examinations would remain suspended during the university admission tests to be held from October 27-November 5, the acting registrar said.
Last year, the university authorities suspended all classes and exams on March 18 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
