Dhaka University (DU) today signed an agreement with Grameenphone (GP) Limited in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
DU treasurer Professor M Kamal Uddin and chief executive officer (CEO) of GP Vivek Sood signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under the agreement, a state of the art computer lab will be built for the Business Studies Faculty of the university.
The computer lab will be equipped with 50 computers with most modern servers and other facilities. Besides, the faculty will be connected with high-speed internet connection of up to 15 Mbps (Megabits per second) in addition to its current strength.
Vice Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique and Dean of Business Studies Faculty Professor Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam were present on the occasion, among others.
