The Centre for Enterprise and Society (CES) at ULAB organized a virtual launching of the first ever Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in Bangladesh dedicated to promotion of diversity, tolerance and pluralism.
The event was held on zoom and broadcast live on Dhaka Tribune yesterday.
The project engaged various domestic and international academics, practitioners and experts including Dr Tariq Modood, founding director, Research Centre for the study of Ethnicity and Citizenship, Bristol University.
The online course will be available on Bohubrihi website, an online education platform based in Bangladesh. The course comprises 14 open, online lectures that explore pluralism and various dimensions of diversity: religious, ethnic, gender, sexual, cultural, historical and political and has brought together 8 experts, local, regional and international, to produce work on one platform.
