Dental college admission test postponed

The decision is taken in the wake of the rise in coronavirus infections and deaths

The government has decided to postpone the entrance exam for public and private dental colleges, scheduled for April 30, in light of the current Covid-19 situation in the country.

The admission test for BDS degree for the academic year 2020-2021 has now been rescheduled for June 11, according to a notification signed by DGHS Director (Medical Education) AKM Ahsan Habib.

Bangladesh has been witnessing a sharp rise in coronavirus infections and deaths for the last couple of weeks.

The death toll from the pandemic in the country currently stands at 11,053, with 101 new fatalities reported in the 24 hours till Sunday morning.

Bangladesh has registered 745,322 Covid-19 cases in total with 2,922 people testing positive over the same period.
