Dhaka University (DU) has expelled 12 students over various allegations including, committing digital fraud and admission test forgery.
Besides, 151 more students have been suspended on different terms for misconduct in exams, according to a press release issued by the university on Monday.
The DU disciplinary committee took the decision after a syndicate meeting held at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate building on Monday.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman presided over the syndicate meeting, which was also attended by others.
